Minimal design is often mistaken for doing less. In practice it means deciding more: every element on the screen has to earn its place.
Try removing one thing
On your next screen, remove one element and see if anyone misses it. Most of the time, the page gets clearer and nobody notices the loss.
Let whitespace do the work
Space groups and separates more gracefully than lines and boxes. Generous margins make a layout feel confident and give the eye a place to rest.
Use motion sparingly
One well-timed transition says more than ten decorative ones. Keep animation for moments of change: opening, confirming, arriving.
